Circa will only retain any personal information given to us for the minimum period of time necessary, depending on the reason you gave us the information. Personal information may be stored electronically or on paper records. Personal information obtained from Circa Service Users via email or telephone or in person is used only for the purpose intended by the Service User.

Personal information collected via our Shopmobility Registration Forms is used only in relation to the loan of Shopmobility equipment and is retained for 2 years after the end of the equipment loan period.

Personal information collected via the Volunteer Registration Form is used by CIRCA to assess  suitability for voluntary work and may be shared with other charities and agencies by CIRCA for the same purpose. Other than an occasion when we would be statutorily required to do so, the information will not be used for any other purpose. Personal information will be retained only as long as a person is actively seeking a volunteer placement or is currently volunteering with a charity.
